Why do we need GRS certification

With the deterioration of the environment and the shortage of resources, countries, governments and even companies... More and more understand the importance of the environment, recycling and reuse. GRS certification is specified for the needs of the textile industry to check for recycled products or specific products, and more importantly, to let retailers and consumers know what parts of a specific product are recycled materials and how they are handled in the supply chain.

The GRS certification system is based on integrity and includes five major requirements: environmental protection, traceability, recycled label, social responsibility and general principles. GRS certification is designed to meet the needs of companies to verify the recycled/recycled content of their products (including finished and semi-finished products), as well as to verify social responsibility, environmental regulations, and chemical use related operations.

In addition, KIND has Oeko-tex 100 certification for products suitable for infant and children's clothing.

The GRS certificate is designed to meet the requirements of companies to verify the recycled/recycled content of their products (both finished and semi-finished) and to verify social responsibility, environmental compliance and chemical use related operations. the goal of GRS is to ensure that the claims made on the relevant products are correct and responsible. This standard applies to all companies (establishments) that manufacture or sell GRS products. This includes processing, manufacturing, packaging, labeling, selling and use of all products containing at least 20% recycled material within the product. The scope of products to be certified is based on the textile product concept, but the certification is not limited to the textile product industry.The GRS certification system can be applied to all units of the supply chain: including all processing units to the final buyer end of the business to business (B2B) transactions.
