What effect does interlining have on the garment?

 Interlining is the skeleton of the entire garment, and is concerned with the overall shape of the garment. Different linings have different roles in different parts of the garment.


What is interlining

Interlining is a woven fabric, knitted fabric and non-woven fabric as the base fabric, using (or not using) thermoplastic polymer compounds, special finishing process by special machinery, used for clothing or shoes and hats, such as the inner layer of the role of reinforcement, bracing, etc., and fabric bonding (or non-bonding) of clothing accessories.

Matching relationship between interlining performance and fabric performance

1, the thickness of the fabric and the thickness of the interlining is directly proportional to each other. Clothing fabric is relatively thick, the choice of interlining   is also relatively thick, the main choice of spun interlining for more; on the contrary, the clothing fabric is thin, the choice of interlining  is also relatively thin. Thick fabric, lining of the glue point becomes larger, the distance between the glue point increases, but also to ensure the bonding effect and softness. Thin fabric backing becomes thinner, the glue point becomes smaller, the density increases to ensure better bonding effect, impermeable glue and softness.
